Resolved Question: Why is it rare for people of my age (20s) to get married before pregnant?

I'm from Metairie, Louisiana, about 10 minutes from New Orleans. Through facebook, I see many old friends and acquantances (most in early 20's) content and even excited about getting pregnant, when they are only in a relationship with their boyfriends. It's so widespread around me it can't all be "accidents". It personally bothers me b/c I feel without marriage, the parent's relationship is more likely to be unstable.
